AURORA, IL - This home in Aurora had structural damage on the first floor mainly due to poor quality construction. The family room floor needed to be completely removed down to the joists, addition support beams installed and new joists added every 12”. The rest of the home was in good condition and only needed updating. New flooring, paint and trim was installed on the main level as well as the second floor. New cabinets, quartz counter tops and stainless appliances were added in the kitchen. The bathrooms were updated with new cabinets, tops and faucets. The showers were changed to tile and the primary bathroom built in tub was replaced with a freestanding tub. To balance the HVAC system, return ducts were added upstairs. The home was completed in April of 2025.
